Horseback Riding is a beautiful and unique way to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Without having to walk, you can relax and enjoy the stunning landscapes and the great waterfall Perolniyoc in full bloom. Visiting the ancient Inca Temple, Huaca-ñaupa Iglesia, will also satisfy your curiosity about Inca culture and its past. Moreover, you will have a blast riding your horse with family and friends – an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss while staying in Cusco.
Full Itinerary
We will start our Horseback Riding in the community of Pachar, where we will receive our equipment and a short demonstration and instruction (if you don’t have any experience). We first ride uphill to the Huarocondo Valley, where we will enjoy the beautiful mountains and panoramic views. Also, we will discover some Inca Terraces and a really special Inca Temple called Huaca-ñaupa Iglesia. After roughly 2 hours of Horseback Riding, we will arrive at the Socma community and, after a short visit, continue our trip to a beautiful 50-meter-high waterfall called Perolniyoc. We will enjoy our lunch box there and then return to Ollantaytambo.
Upon request, we can include private transportation to and from Cusco for an additional US$60 per person. One-way transport is US$30 for two people.
