Horseback riding is an ideal way to experience the spectacular landscapes between the Inca Complexes of Saqsayhuaman and Tambomachay. You’ll be able to enjoy the fantastic views of the mountains that surround Cusco towards the South Valley while crossing the old Inca road to Pucamarca and Huchuy Qosqo.
This exceptional mystic Horseback Riding experience will show you around the Andes of Cusco. Visiting the Moon Temple, renowned for its past Inca ceremonies, and exploring other Inca Ruins in the nearby mountains, you will have a great day with a great mixture of riding fun, amazing views, and culture. The route also includes visits to small towns around the area, where you can see how farmers live in harmony with nature.
Full Itinerary
Either at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm, we will pick you up from your accommodation in the Cusco city centre. We will bring you to the Ranch, where you will meet our bilingual wrangler (Spanish – English), who will accompany you during your adventure ride and then equip you with the horses and helmets. Upon leaving the Ranch, you will enjoy your ride until reaching the Temple of the Moon. Remember that we have to leave the horses waiting outside the protected area of the archaeological site, the temple itself. The guide will provide you with all the interesting information as you explore it on foot. From here, we will continue our ride to the mountain Chacan. From here, you will enjoy great views of the landscape around and the city of Cusco. Reaching this point of the Tour, we will have a short rest before returning to the starting point of our route. Afterwards, we will drop you off at your Hotel.
