Overview

The area around Cusco boasts a wealth of natural beauty, with Andean flora and fauna in full bloom. One of them is the Humantay lagoon, which offers an amazing ecosystem and natural beauty, located directly at the foot of the sacred, snow-capped Mountain. The turquoise water is forming an incredible mirror of the majestic Mountain.

To discover and enjoy the beauty of the Andean scenery, we will take you on a 3-hour journey through breathtaking landscapes and small towns inhabited by indigenous people. We will experience their costumes and traditions, and then start our adventure to the Blue Lagoon from Soraypampa.

Full Itinerary

Our day adventure begins at 5:00 am when we pick you up from your hotel. On our tourist bus, we will travel through the Limatambo Valley, reaching the town of Mollepata around 8:00 am.

Here we will stop for breakfast and refuel, continue our bus ride a little longer, and then start our hike from Soraypampa (3950 m.o.s.l). From here, we continue our journey to our main destination, the blue lagoon, enjoying views of the snow-capped Andean mountains and the beautiful green valley of the Apurimac River.

Arriving at the majestic lagoon, surrounded by many snow-covered mountains at 4,200 m.o.s.l, you will be amazed most of all by the clear blue colour of the water, which will make you want to dip your feet in. Take a million pictures, because afterwards, you will not believe the natural beauty you have just seen!

After all this magical experience of Andean sceneries, we return to Soraypampa, where our staff will be waiting for you with a delicious lunch.

After a short rest, we board the bus and return to Cusco, arriving in the city centre around 5.30 pm.
