Full Itinerary
We begin the Sacred Valley VIP Tour by picking you up from your hotel at 6:30 AM in our tourist bus. From Cusco, an early start to take our time to visit places.
Our first stop is Chinchero, about 40 minutes from Cusco.
The colonial town of Chinchero was built atop an Inca town, surrounded by multicoloured fields, and is close to a lagoon of the same name that provides water to nearby agricultural areas. Chinchero is one of the last Inca towns still living, preserving ancient traditions and clothing, and you'll also see local artisans showcasing beautiful handmade textiles crafted using traditional techniques passed down through generations. In those textiles, it is possible to read stories and legends of divinities and sacred animals.
MORAY
A few minutes' drive from Chinchero, we will reach the central Inca agricultural laboratory of Moray circles. The circular stone construction consists of descending circles built into natural depressions in the ground, uniformly spaced 150 meters deep, and was used to adapt different crops to the Andean ecosystem.
This place features an amazing irrigation system equipped with a filtration system to prevent water flow and crop damage. Also, many ceremonies to the earth (Pacha Mama) took place in the deepest circle. Therefore, this multifunctional location serves both agricultural and spiritual purposes.
MARAS/ SALINERAS (Salt mines)
A fast 20-minute ride from Moray, we arrive at a little valley where the Salineras de Maras (Maras Salt Mines) stand, one of nature's biggest mysteries. From the depths of the mountain, a spring of extremely salty water sprouts. Even before the Incas ruled these lands, they utilised these salt mines, which consist of approximately 3,000 small wells, each about 4 m² and 10 cm deep. They have been exploited ever since, producing salt through a simple natural process: salty water fills the wells, and the sun evaporates it, leaving behind pure salt.
Buffet Lunch in Urubamba
At noon, we'll arrive in Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients from the Sacred Valley. It's also a perfect opportunity to relax and recharge before continuing the tour.
Ollantaytambo, After a short rest, we continue our journey until we reach Ollantaytambo, also one of the last living Inca towns. You will be amazed by the impressive Temple of the Sun, featuring intricate stonework, terraces built to support the mountain, and a temple shaped like a llama. Ollantaytambo, a former Inca administrative, military, and religious centre. Known for its massive stone structures and strategic location, the city of Guorriors has been the site of rebellions.
Pisaq In the early afternoon, we'll explore Pisaq, an archaeological complex featuring an extensive system of agricultural terraces with irrigation channels, allowing the cultivation of different varieties of Corn, including the giant white Corn, Parcacay Sara.
During the visit, you will explore the residential and administrative areas, a large agricultural terrace, and the cemetery, all built high on the mountain slopes and cliffs. We'll also visit the famous Pisac market, a local trading space that has now expanded to offer a variety of artisan crafts and souvenirs.
Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving at around 7:00 PM.

What Our Clients Say
Excellent rating
Based on 94 reviewsVerified Great experience to see many sites in Peru! A big thanks to Leo for a wonderfully planned trip. There was always a driver waiting for us when we landed - after some long days it helps to not have to worry about one more thing! Leo made many of the arrangements for us in Arequipa, Puno, Cusco, Ollantaytambo, and Lima. Hotels were good to great - their staff always friendly and ready to help. Leo arranged for our guides and one in particular, Alex, proved to be an outstanding guide in Sacred Valley. Alex's English was perfect, he knew his history and sites extremely well, and did a great job in guiding the 6 of us on our a daylong hike up the Inca trail. And Leo always had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. Thank you! Roxane BVerified A Flawlessly Organized and Unforgettable Peru Adventure My sister recently organized our trip to Peru with Roland, and it was absolutely fantastic. He dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s, making the whole experience seamless. The trip was wonderfully diverse, with excursions throughout Peru that gave us an incredible apperçu of the country and its sites. Highly recommended! Renee BVerified No podes ir a Río sin alguna vez parar sobre Copacabana! Mortal.. Estuve en Rio frente al mar en Copacabana. Me encanto! Gente durante todo el día! Y si te animas visita la Rozhina con un local, obvio! Go03529326781Verified Personalized adventure of a lifetime We took a personalized trip to Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu with Green Peru Adventures. Leo, the owner of Green Peru Adventures, listened to all my ideas and planned an excellent trip for us! We had an amazing and safe driver, Willie, to take us on all the scheduled tours throughout Cusco and the Sacred Valley. He was there, on time, and got us safely to all our destinations with no problems. Our tour guide, Freddie, was knowledgeable, entertaining, patient, and just great to hang around with! Hiram was an excellent tour guide for our Machu Picchu adventure! He had so much knowledge about all the ins and outs of the Citadel and provided us with interesting stories and life during Incan times. Really, this great trip could not have been successful without the great design from Leo, the owner of Green Peru Adventures. Thank you so much for making this once in a lifetime trip so incredible! krwalker77Verified Overall good - but mixed experience with sub-contractors Booked the 2-day tour from Puno to Arequipa via Colca Canyon. Unfortunately Green Peru Adventures is just an Agent and not actually delivering the service - so having them one step removed added to the difficulties. We were not informed that one provider (Nativa Express) would be coordinating the first half day, and then we would be handed over to Giardino Tours for the remaining day and a half. Nativa Express were appalling. They were half hour late for pickup - which ordinarily is fine but there was no communication. Our “Guide” didn’t talk to us the whole journey until we were offloaded at a remote ‘Crossroads (like a roadhouse) and told we had to wait for another driver. First we’d heard of this!!! Other driver was running late but our Nativa Guide didn’t have their number! After half hour she took off in another van leaving us in the hands of the Nativa bus driver. However the moment she was out of sight he drove off leaving us abandoned in the middle of nowhere! We were to be tranferred to Giardino Tours, and at this point the only saving grace was another driver and guide from that company reaching out and assuring us that they’d been in contact with our Giardino guide and exactly how long the would be. From then on, our tour was amazing!! 5-stars to Guardino Tours!! But next time we will book with them directly. baafreoVerified Cusco, Valle sagrado, Machu Picchu, montaña de colores Roland (Leo) hizo de nuestro viaje a Cusco una experiencia placentera. G- PVerified Great experience! My husband and I just came back from our trip to Peru, and we are very satisfied with the services provided by Green Peru Adventures. The Green Peru Adventures staff was professional since the beginning. They were well organized, always punctual, helpful, and friendly. They created a customized package for us and another couple (friends of ours) that included all the activities and private tours that we wanted to experience while we were in Peru. The staff answered all our questions in a timely manner through What’s App, and was very accommodating to our requests. There was an internal issue with the hotel that we had first booked, but Roland, our main point of contact, was proactive and fixed everything before we got there. Alex and Favio, our tour guides in Cusco and Machu Picchu, respectively, were very nice and knowledgeable. Julio, our driver, was always punctual and drove us safely to all our destinations. Thank you, Green Peru Adventures! We had a great experience in Peru thanks to your team. We would use your services again in the future, and recommend to our friends and family <3. Xochitl BVerified Feeling comfortable I'm from the UK, I was very apprehensive about just arriving in Peru on my own and booking a tour with a tour company that I know nothing about. Being in the middle of the desert in Peru with a complete stranger is quite daunting. However, Leo (Roland) was very helpful, always available via whatsapp to answer questions and responding to my requests for confirmation etc. I booked a tour from Puno to Arequipa with a one night stay in Chivay for Colca canyon. Everything was very smooth, I felt comfortable straight away. Very professional tour guide and driver, nice new buses to travel in. Nice accomodation etc. I would definately use again. I usually like more than 5 reviews before I use a company, but this one I recommend, I'm not biased, I just feel the need to write a good review. Mjohnson51Verified Two day tour Colca Canyon from Puno to Arequipa We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day tour of the Colca Canyon from Puno with Giardino Tours/Green Peru Adventures. We we were picked up in Puno, stayed overnight close to Chivay, toured the Colca Canyon and surrounding area the next day and were driven on to Arequipa after that. Our guide Elar (Giardino Tours) was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, and thoughtful and accommodating in planning our itinerary. We made many interesting stops along the way over the 2 days. It was a great way to see the Canyon and travel between Puno and Arequipa.
