Price is based on two people minimum.
First, you will visit the Potato Park today, which is a 30 minute drive from Pisaq. We will provide you a great insight of how the six surrounding communities try to protect the diversity of the potato in this local initiative.
Afterwards, we will keep going to our main destination, the three lagoons Quinsa Cocha – a sparkling dark blue lake, nestled in between majestic Andean peaks. In this lake, some of the local communities are cultivating the rainbow trout. That´s where we will spend our day with fishing!
We will start our tour, picking you up from you hotel at 07:00 am and start our ride through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Pisaq. From here, we will take the road up to the potato park. It’s a quite exciting road where you can see the change of the valley and the high land, where the flora change every minute we ascend, we will meet very friendly people of the communities and the beautiful kids waving to us.
We will visit the potato park, and then stop a few minutes to meet a local family in one of the communities. Afterwards, will keep going to the blue lagoon. Here, we will assembly the fishing gear and start fishing in the beautiful shores of the lake. Our local guide will take us to the best spots. The main idea is to catch our lunch.
After all this beautiful time and relaxing, we will ride back to the local family and have lunch in their house. After enjoying the delicious Peruvian food, we will get back to Cusco.
