Flight over the Nazca Lines Tour 1Day
The Nazca culture left us the mysterious Nazca Lines: A complex zoo morphic, geometric anthropomorphous drawings.
Hundreds are just lines or geometric marked on the earth's surface. A plane gains altitude to enjoy the view over the desert and of course to appreciate the amazing lines. The largest figure measures more than 200 m long. Major questions about the intentions and skills of theirs builders remain pending.
Near by the pre Inca Cemetery of Chauchilla was looted by treasure hunters. Those who ransacked the place taking away all the treasures out of Peru : the mummies kept in their tombs for centuries. Nowadays, several century old tombs can be noticed along with mummies, ceramics fragments and some bones.
This tour starts and ends in Nazca
If you are arriving to Nazca by bus you will arrive approx. 06:00 am.(arriving from Cusco or Arequipa, if you already are in Nazca we will organise your pick up from the hotel)
Our representing in Nazca Liliana Hamani will be waiting for you at the Bus Terminal and then transferred you a hotel restaurant to have a breakfast as you wish, many prefer to eat light before the flight …
Between 8 and 8:30 am you will be transferred to the Nazca Aerodrome for your flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Approximately 35 minutes flying over this enigmatic "pampas", where hundreds of years ago maybe ancient Peruvians drew huge designs, which can only be seen from the air.
you will be able to observe the most important one, as the money, spider, hummingbird and the long perfect Nazca Lines.
We recommend you to book your flight in advance, especially in the high tourism season.
